Snewe die eerste lid verstaan as ǀharu- = matjiesgoed, biesies, die tweede gedeelte as bestaande uit -xa-, hoeveel- heidsmorfeem (= baie), en lokatiewe morfeem -be-, maar die span van mnr Frederick verklaar die eerste lid direk as — Inaru- = Euclea pseudebe- nus, die swartebbenhoutboom, plus chabi-b = plek, ook gespel -chabi-, laasgenoemde dus as een woord. Die wisseling -n- en -h- (ǃna- teenoor ǀha-) is baie frekwent (vgl. 5 D 6 in TH A* 46), en die -gabib kan op albei ma- niere opgevat word. vgl. vir -gabi- as een woord o.a. HEIRACHABIS. Ons meen die kans is groot dat mnr Frederick en sy span gelyk kan he: hulle is van Aus en ken die plaas daar naby Aus.
