Kaiǀaub

We have four forms of name, T.w. AUB, Geiaub, in its entirety translated as Grootfontein, and in the first component translated as Gross Aub, as opposed to Kleinfontein slightly whore. It was an important node at the highway still used today. Capital is like Nama ǀ Au-, ǀ old, with -s for fountain, Source eye, with -b for stray stream (cf. Vedder). Therefore, -B also locates rivers, and it is conceivable that the starting point of the name is the river (see Van Zyl). About the translation as 'Grootfontein' there is no doubt, cf. Kriegsharte.

eng We have four forms of name, T.w.
Kriegskarte.
