Gariganus

At Namaǃ Gari = 'Heart, Zah', andǃ Ganu = 'Der Arring' (Kr.-. 1969 NW Resp. 92 and 90). The statement does not address. It is indeed the question whether it is, as we think, the same name is as Garaganis. Garaganis is declared by Rust as 'Aloeplatz'. Pastor Rust's headquart was Jarelank Keetmanshoop, so that one would expect theoretically that he should have been better informed and that his statement deserves the preference. Then not the 'place of the hard arm ring', but the 'alewe- or quiver tree', which is probably better fit into the pattern of naming the Khoekhoen. One could also think of ǀ Gari-growth grass; It would also be patternable for a statement, but then we stop against the objection of Dr. Vedder T.O.V. The second member with which we do not know. APN 1951 122 pressed his Seal on the Spell Gariganus. The station lies on the eponymous farm No. 157.

afr By Nama ǃgari = 'hart, zah', en ǃganu = 'der Armring' (Kr.-R. 1969 NW resp.
