In this form it did not go on a farm name. The TB is the characteristic locative that the name can also apply to a river, M.A.W. The starting point is the river, not the source of the cricke.

Die -b is die kenmerkende lokatiewe aan- duiding dat die naam ook vir ’n rivier kan geld, m.a.w. die beginpunt is die rivier, nie die bron van die Kriegskarte nie.
