Mr Arndt goes outǃ Gu- = 'The long binders' (Kr.-r. 1969 NW 144) also used as a partition for the house door (-am- = mouth, opening, door), but It's hard to see how it got place name. A better chance of this has o.I. Nama ǀ Gu = 'Nahen, Nae Commenant' (Kr.- R. 139), at -Am- = mouth, opening, fountain: the 'near fountain'.
