Namaǃ Neib [inib] = 'The Giraffe (' Giraffe ')' (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 289), andǃ Hon = 'knee' (Aid. 191), so literally 'camel', to suck. INAILHONI is also known in Afrikaans as 'camel River', andǃ The naming today can also have ecological significance. It would have been striking that the oldest finding farms have no -s; Apparently, the feeling later made it necessary to add the location-resistant exit in the more official notes.

Die waterplek op die trekroete het waarskynlik sy naam van die gelyknamige rivier gekry. Nama ǃneib [Inaib] = 'die Giraffe ('kameelperd')' (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 289), en ǃhon = 'knieen' (aid. 191), dus letterlik 'Kameelknieling', nl. om te suip. INailhoni is ook in Afrikaans bekend as 'Kameelrivier', en ǃNaiǃhon(s) met die suipplek is meer bepaald die naam van plaas nr 256. Hier is verskillende plase met die bestanddeel 'kameel-' en 'nei-', sodat die naamgewing vandag ook ekologiese betekenis kan he.
