NeEbis is a farm in Dist. Keetmanshoop and is No. 120, South Southos to town. It was a captains yard at a source in the Leue River, and a throw on the Tensile Route. Even with the right suction consonant, Dr Budack of his spokesman received a statement that deviates from the distraction by Kreenley and is probably the right. Nanebis is 'n plaas in dist. Keetmanshoop en is nr 120, suidsuidoos van die dorp. Dit was ’n kapteinswerf by ’n bron in die leeurivier, en ’n uitspanning op die trekroete. Selfs met die juiste suigkonsonant het dr Budack van sy segsman ’n verklaring gekry wat afwyk van die afleiding deur Kroenlein gegee en wat waarskynlik die juiste is. Dit is die -bes, -bis (plekduidend) waar die ╪nani-s = 'Signalpfeife' gehoor is, by ^nani = '(auf einem Instrument) floten...' (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 286), d.w.s. 'Fluitfontein' en nie 'Pypfontein' nie. (Dit is moontlik dat 'fluit' hier twee betekenisse het, waarvan die toegepaste gebruik ook 'n aanspraak kan laat geld, t.w. 'fluit' in die sin van 'water afslaan’M Sonder die eenmalige optekening daarvan deur Kroenlein sou ons waarskynlik nie agter die 'geheim' gekom het nie.
