Kadebis
This is the name of farm MAF. Q. 3-28, Dist. Mafeking, then also a carbush stop. The name is old. According to the names of the subdivisions, the member is to indicate Kade - as Fern. MV. At 11khae- = sand, to join 'Zandlains', name of the farm south-east of Kadebis (d.w.s. -bi-s or water / spring where there is 11khaedi or very sand); Also imaginable, now with the change of -a and -o-, 'lime spot', atǃ kho- = lime, in closure at the name of the farm 'lime lows' on the south border on Kadebis. This vowel change of -a / o- is abundant, cf.. Kadebis The farm 'Vaalbosch sprouts', apparently the spelling dates the name still out of the Dutch time and is relatively old. We very much consider that Kadebis means 'Vaalbosstore', with Suffik -bi - For Place Induction, The -S (Fern, Sing.) Here as index of a fountain or water name, and Kade-Nama or Korana for Vaalbos, usually for the Tarcho-Nanthus Camphoratus (Smith 1966 CNSAP 476). It's also our preference.
