The first member is like Nama Igara = 'Mager' (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 92), an anthropomorphic view for the withered ... Hunbome. The indigenous name ǀ Huni appears in Afrikaans in the adjusted form of non-tree. d.w.s. The Dental Schnalz ǀ (+ voiced H-) is realized as the voting dental N, the Lien N- both at the same level of 'halfness'. The tree here was apparently a striking feature with unomstressed value. This applies here the name of Cubis-Nord, Farm No. 36, northeast of Keetmanshoop, and discussed under that name in th * 791, omit.

Die eerste lid is soos Nama Igara = 'mager' (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 92), 'n antropomorfiese siening vir die verdorde ǀhuniboom. Die inheemse naam ǀhuni- verskyn in Afrikaans in die aangepaste vorm van noenie-boom. d.w.s. die dentale schnalz ǀ ( + stemhebbende h-) word gerealiseer as die stemhebbende dentale n-, die lien n- albei op dieselfde vlak van 'halfheid'. Die boom hier was klaarblyk- lik ’n opvallende kenmerk met onomastiese waarde. Dit geld hier die naam van Kubis-Nord, plaas nr 36, noordoos van Keetmanshoop, en onder daardie naam bespreek in TH A* 791, alwaar.
