And a little lower there is another farm 'Kij-Kij' No (64) 9735/1955 on K 2720 DB, everyone in Gordonia-Dist., and all with the same meaning, viz. of 'shiny'.

Papst ondervra een van Farini se begelêiers en beskuldig Farini van growwe oordrywings. Papst praat van die berge as kalkberge, Van Vreeden as sandheuwels en windberge. Die berge (heuwels) het in die son geglinster, volgens die naam, soos Nama ╪kei- ╪kei [ ╪khai- ╪khai] = 'erglanzen' (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 236), in Afrikaans dan 'Blinkberg(e)'. Die naam het oorgegaan op plaas B.524/1897 op 2620 BB, genoem 'Kyky', op 'Ky-kypan' K 2720 DB. en bietjie laer af is daar nog 'n plaas 'Kij-Kij' nr (64)9735/1955 op K 2720 DB, almal in Gordonia-dist., en almal wel met dieselfde betekenis, nl. van 'Blink-'.
