This correlates with the current farm Zuurberg No. 46 to the west of the Concieprivier on BB. We read the name on us not very good Xerox copy of the card as Nuris, but it can be curi. For 'Sauer' (acid) has Nama ǀ Kuru (Kr.-r. Khoekhoense name disappeared, the Dutch form Zuurberg is, as said, the registered name-of the place today. The name should not be confused with other Suurberg (one is Seifs close).

Dit korreleer met die huidige plaas Zuurberg nr 46 ten weste van die Konkieprivier op BB. Ons lees die naam op ons nie baie goeie xeroxkopie van die kaart as Nuris, maar dit kan Kuris wees. Vir 'sauer' (suur) het Nama ǀkuru (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 253). Die inskrywing op die Kriegskarte wek die indruk dat die naam in sy Duitse en sy Hollandse vorm 'n vertaling is. Die Duitse vorm en die Khoekhoense naam het verdwyn, die Nederlandse vorm Zuurberg is, soos gesê, die geregistreerde naam-van die plek vandag. Die naam moet nie met ander Suurberge verwar word nie (een is seifs daar naby).
