Haradas

Mr Arndt refers to the farms Mukorob No. 14 and Dickdorn No. 13 who borders on Mukorob and his western side. On the farm Mukorob le the 'finger clip', in English 'Finger or God' (cf. SWA series 1968 sheet 2518 couses), names in quotation sign as on this map. Mr Arndt's expressional that the finger clip, that remarkable formation with the thin single of clay, did not bear the name of Mukorob. He didn't have name, but his name was Haradasǃ The fact that there are people who claim that the name of the said rock formation is the Mukorob (eg Pastor Rust in Kr.- e.g. 1912 on the DSWA series Blatte 25 Keetmanshoop. Here's one and others still unclaimed. The rock formation had the name Haradas, it is a historical fact, today, he, in addition to his Afrikaans, German and English names, is also known as Mukorob. Or the old farm took over his name of the formation, or vice versa, we do not know. Anyway, we are Mr Arndt and his team grateful that they have laid the band between the name Haradas and his application. The singing of the name is very interesting, viz. That the foot of the formation is not seen and the top, which then extends the impression in the heat waves arouses the point that 'wraps'. Cfg. Also the discussion under Haradab in th a ** 522, where the 'wrapping' thought is compared to a tooth that wraps.

eng Arndt H 1977 and three other Khoekhoen of Koes conversation 'Vingerklip, this finger clip did not have a name. They just said Haradas. It looks like he wraps when the sun is hot. Then you don't see that bottom. You just see that round thing so stand up. With the mood, he seems to be wiggling. Wrap is ǀ Hara. It's not Mukorob. Mukorob is another place. Mukorob now lies between that finger clip and dikdorne '.
Wikkel is ǀhara. Dit is nie Mukorob nie. Mukorob is ’n ander plek.
