We do not find this old name back on later maps, D.W.S. Not in his old Khoekhoians, but the old name correlates with the German name for Farm No 71 North of Helmeringhausen, viz. with 'Krahwinkel'. Krahwinkel, in Afrikaans 'Kraaihoek' (the place le. In the Schwarz Indicate, and with the -s of singing. Fern, which is determined here that place o.a. A fountain / source is. 'Kraaifontein' is the literal translation, but the German name is the ground word, the crows, not around the fountain, though at the corner where the fountain may have been located. Krahwinkel lies on 2516 BD / DB, and Gorabis on DB, which apparently indicates that Krahwinkel's area has shrunk over time to the northern corner.
