ǃUriǃnanib
The name often occurs. On modern maps, it mostly appears in German translation as 'Weissrand', just like his counterpiece 'Schwarzrand' from the Khoekhoen ╪nu-Inanib (Nunabib), but it has also been recorded in his Afrikaans translation. The ingredients can be made up of the returns, viz. ǃ Uri = white, and inani- = edge. Both walk about north-south, the Nunanib to the west, the Urinanib east of Gibeon and the Grootfish River. Die naam kom dikwels voor. Op moderne kaarte verskyn dit meestal in Duitse vertaling as 'Weissrand', net soos sy teenstuk 'Schwarzrand' uit die Khoekhoense ╪Nu-Inanib (NUNABIB), maar dit is ook al in sy Afrikaanse vertaling opgeteken.
