eng Kroenley 1867 QUELEN 12 443 'AWA-KHOAS'. Pastor D Goliath letter Tin Nama, translated by Pastor Albath of Beersba, 1969 (shortened)] 'In earlier years old people have transported their possessions on packs. At this place there is a downhill and when the oxen ran, off the packs and most calabashes were broken, hence the name Awa-Khoa-s. Then the old people were careful: the packs were taken out of the herd of cattle and entered the flock. Kalbasbreek is a downhill, 'Burgish' place '.
afr Kroenlein 1867 Quellen 12 443 'Awa-khoas'. Kalbasbreek is ’n afdraande, ‘brekerige’ plek'.
