Goaeis
Tuais is Alexander's version of the name, with change -t andg - which is not uncommon in old documentations - cf. Discussion at Nugoaes. This is pure west of Beersba on Alexander's map and 80 km north of Bethanien, shortcut, or ong. 100 km per Wapad (Aid. 2 278), So near Helmeringhausen, and should not be confused with Goais at Rehoboth. Schultze places it 'Nordöstlich von Kubub'. Both lead it from ╪goa- = 'Lehm,' clay ', mortar' (Kr.-r. 1969 NW 132), while Dr. Vedder went out of how the place name sounded to him today, and then he got it up Good luck tied to Goa-B = 'Messer' etc., cf. Kr. 110. It is probably a mistake on his side, but the spelling was adapted by the pnk in accordance with his hint. Also the claim of Dr. Vedder is a mistake, a wrong abstraction. The -s is locative, correct translation at Schultime.
