Kudis
The SWA series 1971 sheet 2516 Gibeon shows that the farms Kudis No. 66 and Kuteb No. 65 border, and that the kuteb is flowing over No 65 and passing near the east border of 66. The said map of DSWA 1911 calls the River Kudis, the Krikriekarte Kutip. All the given returns are just wisseiings of the same word. The -s (singing, Fern.) Of Kudis here that there was a source (see also Kriegskarte), and the -B or -P of the ML. EKV. At Kudib again indicate the river name again. The meaning of the river was given to us in its alternative (German) name, Hammer, cf. Kriegsharte. The naman for hammer relates to ╪Khu = 'in Stiicke ... in Triimmer ... Zerfallen', D.W.S. smashed, hit in pieces. With that, we also have the right suction flaster, which Mr Olsen did not have. Further discussion under Kudis 2317. These farms and river lie in the Schwarzrand, northeast of Helmeringhausen, in the Malta Hohe district.
