Namseb, Numseb

Alexander's NUBseb correlates on his map exactly with Namb, so his statement is the oldest. He knew no Nama and got it from his interpreter, Choubib: It reflects their expert conception, based on local knowledge. The foundation is then as Nama ╪nami, ╪Nams = 'Der Karos, der Schafelz' (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 285), with the location suffix -Seb, literally 'karos-place', with the number that it laid one-side, perhaps for overpring (cf. NamTap) or around the heat Place apparently got his name from the river, note the indicative exit -b (ml. Ekv.) For a river name.

Description
eng Alexander's NUBseb correlates on his map exactly with Namb, so his statement is the oldest.
