Description
eng The two farms are apparently according to their form (East Omarm West) the result of subdivision of a unit. They are in the northern direction of Maltahöhe, and only fall into the Rehoboth region, d.w.s. They are border farms from the southern Rehoboth area. The names only occur later on the cards. The meaning is as Nama ǀ HEI- [ǀ hai] = 'Fahl' (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 177), and Tsawi- = 'Der Schwarzebenholzbaum' (Kr.-R. 381), M.A.W. The 'fountain / water spot (indicated by the fern, sing.) At the Vaal (ǀ Hai) Swarttebbenhoutboom / Trees (Tsawi)'. Translate the TsaBie or Tsawwie tree (Euclea Pseudebenus, the species name as 'false ebony') is called in Nama because the leaves at one she look like 'as', in Nama Tsao- = 'The Asche' (Kr.- R. 379). afr Die twee plase is klaarblyklik volgens hulle vorm (Oos omarm Wes) die gevolg van onderverdeling van 'n eenheid. Die vorm -tzwasies is o.i.
