Besides correlate Hahn's return exactly with Lekkerwater 143, Dist. Windhoek, and with Lekkerwater No. 145 slightly souther, Dist. Mariental. Earlier there were other farms that arose by subdivision, so adjacent and eponymous. At this height, farms with the opposing name were bitter water, eg. 109 in the same area, dist. Windhoek. 'Lekkerwater' is a translation of the old name.

Die Ugamteb = die plek waar daar ǀǀgami, d.i. water, te kry is, die ǃgai = 'lekker', dus: die 'lekkerwaterplek', vgl. GEIGAMI. Dit is nie 'Kouewaterplek' nie (vgl. KAIGAMTES), altans volgens Hahn — hy spel die woord vir 'koud' as ǃkhai, vir 'lekker' as ǃgai (die weglating van die nasale teken in sy opgawe hierby sal wel setfout wees). Buitendien korreleer Hahn se opgawe presies met lekkerwater 143, dist. Windhoek, en met lekkerwater nr 145 effens suideliker, dist. Mariental. vroeër was daar ander plase wat deur onderverdeling ontstaan het, dus aangrensend was en gelyknamig. Op hierdie hoogte was plase met die teenstellende naam Bitterwater, bv. 109 in dieselfde omgewing, dist. Windhoek. 'lekkerwater' is ’n vertaling van die ou naam.
