Dr Budack het gelyk. In die aangehaalde teks staan inderdaad Asawab, en dit is die vorm wat ons aan mnr Krenz vir ’n moontlike verklaring voorgelê het. Hy was so vriendelik om ’n voorstel te maak, soos aangehaal is. Ons behou die verkeerde inskrywing nogtans om daarmee te toon dat die navorser met hierdie soort van skryffout maklik om die bos gelêi kan wor'd. Dit gaan hier nie om Asawab nie, maar om Awasab, plaas nr 333, op S 2317. Mnr J Boois 1976 Taalassistent Aantekening verbeter die suigkonsonant tot lAwasab.
