The first componentǃ Now- is probably like Namaǃ Now = thick (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 300) or large, the 'fountain (-s) where the thick or big (ǃ stand (-si-) '. Situated southwestern Windhoek Dist. Windhoek. The bark of the Swarttebenhoutboom is gray or ascolor, and it is assumed that the name Tsawi relates to Tsao- = as, due to the ash color of the bass.
