Chauchab(Rivier)

The river flows from east to west in the Kuiseb, Le west of Rehoboth, just above Hornkrans (map of Hahn). According to Hahn's spelling, it can only mean 'misshe river', with just word xou-b [xau-b] = ejection, dire, miss (see Kr.-r. 1969 NW 48), and -xa- = large quantity, with a -b as exit that usually locates a river.
