Gorob

The Gorob mine lies north of the Kuiseb. If it is pronounced with a palatal suction flaster as at Rev. Moritz, then it is rather understanding than ╪Go = pointed, with diminutiefformans -ro-, the 'small spitskoppie'; Hard ground isǃ K (H) Oro-B (Krenz FK 1974 Note), and again Krenz 1976 Addition 'Gorob ist Aber Auch Granitkuppe', Gorob now with another suction consonant than at Moritz. There is also a Gorob River (Surveying SWA sheet of Bethanien), about the meaning we have no further details.
