Goatanab

Look further at Aotanab. Pastor Moritz here again told him. It seems as if the two names are equated, D.W.S. That also means Goatanab 'Bluthead'. The -tana-B in both returns arouse no doubt, it is Nama for 'head'. The vowels in Goa and in AO- let in doubt whether it is the same word, for the first time with skin, the second time, which is consistent (Hott 186-8). Possibly they are alternative names. Then Goatanab reminds us of ╪Go-Tanab [-Danab], D.I. 'Spitskop', Nama ╪Go = peak, with other Schnalz than at Moritz, or, next to Spitskop, perhaps 'elephant kick', Nama ╪koa- cf .. Goaseb 2318.

Description
eng Look further at Aotanab. Pastor Moritz here again told him. It seems as if the two names are equated, D.W.S. That also means Goatanab 'Bluthead'. The -tana-B in both returns arouse no doubt, it is Nama for 'head'. afr Kyk verder by AOTANAB. 'Spitskop', Nama ╪go = spits, met ander schnalz as by Moritz, of, naas Spitskop, dalk 'Olifantskop', Nama ╪koa- vgl. GOASEB 2318.
