The translation that replaced the inland name, viz. Swartbank i.p.v. Nuhoas, therefore, accept 'bank', but according to Schultze 1904-5 Anuk 162 is the inland word for what the 'Buren' banks callǃ Haob. Perhaps it only shows how difficult it was to always hear well. There is no reason to doubt the translation with Swartbank, the current name. His anti-piece is 'redbank' more west, awanghaus, or in Nama ǀ Awaǃ Hoa-s.

Miskien toon dit net aan hoe moeilik dit was om altyd goed te hoor. Daar is ewenwel geen rede om die vertaling met Swartbank, die huidige naam, te betwyfel nie. Sy teenstuk is 'Rooibank' meer weswaarts, AWANGHAUS, of in Nama ǀAwa-ǃhoa-s.
