Kudis
Before 1856, Rev. Vollmer had his own system to write suction medklinkers (th a * 38), and his xkhutis should be located as = bkhutis. Dr. Hahn's ǀ Guts are well enrolled from his cartographer, in his manuscript Collectanea, he correctly gives the palatal slap, and so also the police of Rehoboth know it. The change of the Anlaut as G and K, and of the enclosed as -d- andt-, has solidified in the writing of Kudis for farm No 271, north-east of Rehoboth, in the Rehoboth area. Rev. Vollmer already gives us the meaning early, viz. Throw, broken (or: in pieces), cf. Kr. 1969 NW + K (h) U = 'in Stiicke, ausinandallen; In Triimmer ... '(Aid. 258). The police apply it to a fight where people are 'crushed / shattered'. Cfg. also Kudis 2517 where we have the same word translated with 'hammer', d.w.s. A tool to break something. On which the crushing relates, we no longer know today.
