Xauseb
The 'Xausibberg' lies on the farm 'Small Chausib' No. 408, the non-steady 'Xausib River' originates on the northwestern hang of the beig and walks northwest on the small chausib and then over a part of Schlesien to on the Place at the Kuiseb River join. Little Chausib Le northwest and border on 'Chausib' No. 27 (Topo Cadastral Series 1974 Skin 2316 Rehoboth). In th a * 285, we declared Chausib as Nama Xau- = miss, dung. The topographical cohesion of Chausib, little Chausib, Xausibberg and Xausib River make it sure that the mountain and river name also related to xau- = mist, dung, 'Scheissdreck' (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 48). The second member of the name, viz. Si-, is the locative morpheme, the lock -b masc. Sing, indicating that the mountain or the river name was probably primer. If the mountain name was primer, the suspicion may arise that underlie the name may have been a parable, eg. That the mountain mass reminded the nominee of a dump.
