Nabitsaus
Kubethsus was the priority name on the Crooking Marto of 1904, after that, according to our data. The alternative name still occurs in 1910 as the first syllable. As a farm name, we do not get it in our lists from 1911 to 1939 (AdressBiicher). As a farm name, we first find it in the 1964 card, and then as N-a-Bitsaus. Nubitsaus became Nabitsaus. And for the statement, the elimination must be made out of the statement. The -tsau- does not cause any trouble, it is Nama for a well, a man-made water, although the cricke shows it indicates as a (natural) source. The FEM. Sing, -s as an exit indicates the names on. The meaning of Nubbi- (in the alternative name still Kuabe) is uncertain. A possibility is that it relates to = fnu = black, cf. e.g. Nubis (head), or cf. e.g. Nubes.
