Farm No. 322, Dist. Windhoek, also a mountain on it, ong. 50 km west of the city. The same name in Dist. Flay means 'Spitskop'; We believe that this GoneIb also got its name from the point of his crest, d.w.s. that it is descriptive. The slot member cannot commit us satisfactorily. Perhaps the closing member is connected with ǀ neib = 'Riickenkreuz' (cf. Kr.- R. 1969 NW 288 and Gomaneib).

Flay beteken 'Spitskop'; ons meen dat ook hierdie Goneib sy naam van die spits voorkoms van sy kruin gekry het, d.w.s. dat dit beskrywend is. Die slotlid kan ons nie bevredigend verbind nie. Dalk is die slotlid te verbind met ǀneib = 'Riickenkreuz' (vgl. Kr.-R. 1969 NW 288 en GOMANEIB).
