The -bis is the spot indicator, especially in water. The K- and T- are attempts to approach the hearing and are as variety, also lived in OUGRAPS (HOTT 178-9), cf. Furthermore, 5 E 1. 'Reed' is in Nama ╪a-b. It does not include the place name's sound building, even the ǀǀ Gana-B of Pettman. Hahn also does not give a direct translation, indirectly with its dental schnalz, and with that, it invalidates Pettman. Perhaps 'place (-bi-s) where water is imposed (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 252 at ǀ kunu-)'? It may also be that Pettman Tounobis and Otjimbonde considered equivalent ('Platz Eines Kameldornbaum-Hains' - Koehler) and therefore their statement.

Die k- en t- is pogings om die gehoorde te benader en is as afwisseling te beskou, ook in Ou- Kaaps gewoon (HOTT 178-9), vgl. verder 5 E 1. 'Riet' is in Nama ╪a-b. Dit sluit glad nie aan by die pleknaam se klankbou nie, ewemin die ǀǀgana-b van Pettman. Hahn gee ook geen regstreekse vertaling nie, wel 'n indirekte met sy dentale schnalz, en daarmee maak hy die afleiding van Pettman ongeldig. Miskien 'Plek (-bi-s) waar water opgelêk word (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 252 by ǀkunu-)'?
