The source laid in the coming of the erongobefge where Bergdamara was found in Hahn's time (entry on his 1879 card). Hahn writes no nasal vowel in the tribal member, Krenz believes it should be there and base his statement on ǀǀ Ga = thirst (be / he) (Rest 1960 DNW 14). The -s probably also determines here that we have / had / had a region or water location. The name we no longer find on the available maps. Possibly it now carries a thereafter.

Die bron het in die kom van die Erongobefge gelê waar Bergdamara in Hahn se tyd ook aangetref is (inskrywing op sy kaart van 1879).
