An interesting deviation from those who modernized the spelling of the name for the native village. They recorded the meaning as in Anichab 2314, as evidenced by the implementation of the member -Cha-B as -XA-B, D.I. rich or abundant on. But the oldest writing methods explain the name differently. The slot member is not --xa-B, but -╪-B, cf. Anigab ii. Schwabe clearly shows that the place was already known in German times as Vogelkranz, translated from Nama Ani-╪gab.

Hulle het die betekenis opgeneem soos in ANICHAB 2314, soos blyk uit die tepasbrenging van die lid -cha-b as -xa-b, d.i. ryk of volop aan. Maar die oudste skryfwyses verklaar die naam anders.
