eng Zaby A 1979 Rector Namibiana 1 (1) 50 'Mreggig No. 714. [by retirement under the Damara known as] Noeses or Loeses. Both pronunciations I have been attended. Noes or looes is the bird we call Kakadu. The name 'Mountaingious' has, however, that the Damara name is nowhere to horen. Mountain is a very well-known farm, 2 km north of Dent point, where the Torrabaaipad branches off from the Ses- Fonteinpad to West. There are school there , Hostel, Church and Store '.

Noes bzw. loes ist der Vogel, den wir Kakadu nennen. Der Name 'Bergsig' hat sich indes so eigebiirgert, dass der Damara- name nirgends mehr zu horen ist. Bergsig ist heute eine sehr bekannte Farm, 2 km nördlich von dent Punkt, wo die Torrabaaipad von der Ses- fonteinpad nach Westen abzweigt. Dort sind Schule, hostel, Kirche und store'.
