Okorusu is the name of Farm No. 499, southeastern Otavi and not to confuse with Okorusu No 88. Okorusu means the 'place of the orusu tree' (Kohler 1958 Heimkal 101), hereral name of the Rhus Dinteri (WISS HJ 1975 Botanische Mitt 53). The now disappeared alternative namanam may refer to the same orusuboom (in Namaǃ Are-B) of which only one stood at the Wapad, Nama ǀ Gui = one. The -bi is locative.
