Tsoabis

The place lies on the move to the north of Grootfontein, to a working-lingering with water supply. Tsoabis is still the main name, next to the name 'Kryfontein', which we can name the nickname, but by 1910, the main name disappeared from the cards and we just got the nickname. He also appeared no longer. Is Krey- or Kreifontein translating Tsoabis? The member -bi - is locative, singing, fern, -s indicates o.a. Source names so that the TSO then must mean Krey or Krei. Nama tsoa- means 'exhibit' or 'rear / seat' (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 384) or 'crab' The old name does not translate. Mr Krenz is sure here our best Iidsman.

Nama tsoa- beteken 'ontluis' of 'agterste/sitvlak' (Kr.-R. 1969 NW 384) of 'krap' (Krenz).
