Hier het ons ’n skaarse geval van die Namawoord ǀau-s met velere anlaut. Ook in die dialek van die Kora het die woord velere inset gehad, so by Wuras en Meinhof, Ig. skryf ǀkx’au-s, 'Quelle' (vgl. HOTT 268). Die -s in die pleknaam lokativeer tegelykertyd. Vgl. verder KOUS wat, van een gesigspunt uit, wisseluitspraak van hierdie naam kan wees. Mnr FK Krenz 1974 teken egter by hierdie inligting van mnr Schroeder aan 'Dan moet die plek na reens ’n soort van kaskade wees, en sulke plekke word van die Namasprekendes Igauss genoem'.
