At Smith there is no recording for the 'wild apple tree'; The namanaam writes Krenz ǀǀ Oena. Also see Oena 2817, apparently the same or a related plant. The wild types of apple trees get their name from there that their leaves show a strong agreement with the leaves of the domestic apple tree.
