Gaikos

Today it is the name of farm No 729, northeast of Grootfontein, in that district. This fountain (index sign is here the -s of the Fern, sing.), Great and with plenty of water, said according to Dr Hartmann's map to the southeastern tip of the 'Gaikob Oder Otjitjikwa B (bad) E' (the Masc. Sing, -b is here mountainen name index, as opposed to the -s). This mountain and fountain have the same name, with the same suction consonants, and followed with the same meaning. The farm is, so Mr Xaregeb and his team, very rocky. Gaikos is approximately 'Toorfontein', Gaikob is 'magic mountain', on the authority of the Consistent Brown People. Rust 1960 DNW 75 Give up 'Zaubermittel'ǃ Gei-b [ǃ Gae-b]. Interestingly, the freely wisse- lob andǃ Kob at the team of XAREGEBǃ They interpret it as 'place', at Kr.-r. 1969 NW 325 is Lob and -s 'Das Loch'. Whether the motivation of XAREG is correct, we do not know, the distraction looks correct to us.
