ǃGoroǀoab
We treated the name in th a * 454 and declared it as 'five-size trees' n.a.v. The well-meaning information Mr HG gave Bruns. Now we have an older spelling in the return of Dr Hartmann. The first member is not Goro- = five, that isǃ Goro, apparently exchange ruling ofǃ K (h) Oro, as also appears from the game form above in brackets, viz. Koro. This means 'limestein' (Rust 1960 DNW 34), as not only from the full word itself can be completed as such, but as well as the description that Hartmann is complementary to this, viz. 'Loch im lime'. The second member, in the exchange form in brackets as -koab, in the main form, however, if ǀ OAB, may be connected with ǀ OAB = 'The Lillie, the Volleit' (Kr.R. 1969 NW 315), the whole So about the 'place (-B) where limestone (Ikhoro) is abundant (ǀ oa)'. K and G- (Khoro and Goro) vary each other about allophones; The form ǀ Oa- versus (ǀ) Koa - which is in brackets, is also an ordinary interaction, cf. in th a * 44-45. Today is the old farm Gorooab subcover in G.-West No 295, and G.-East No. 294. Hartmann and his followers situ- honor the place just below the 19th latitude, in fact it is above, D.W.S. norporably as given in the head above.
