Khuigams

This water place, northeast of Namutoni, is T.O.V. The first 'member difficult to explain. Dr Hartmann writes here the suction medicine, viz. Before the second component, so we know ǀǀ Gam-S = 'Water' (Nama ǀǀ Gammi = water; The -s of ǀǀ Gams is the sign of the VR. Ekv. And locates here too water location). But the first component has no Schnalz at Hartmann, and is therefore perhaps appreciated if Khui = 'in the Ershinung Treten, Auftauchen, Sich in the Richten' (Kr.- R. 1969 NW 251). Khui ǀǀ Gams is Then about the 'place (-s) where the water (ǀǀ gam) becomes visible / pitching / throughout (khui)'.
