Recognising the epistemological violence of western and colonial texts against indigenous narratives, as part of a decolonial approach, we have included texts and materials written by all authors. This is done to provide opportunities for these works to be challenged, interrogated, and debated by academics, affected descendent communities, and the public at large. We do not endorse, nor do we support the historical frameworks of some of these texts that were engineered by way of race-based science, including right-wing religious and imperialist motivations. However, we believe that a holistic approach that embraces inclusivity of the 'full archive' provides a navigational catchment area that incorporates the vulnerabilities and fault lines of how narratives have been manufactured over time. The archive is built on the principles of restorative justice and restoration poised towards the emancipation of indigenous thought and wellbeing.
