All participants were invited to submit a short video recording of themselves sharing their reflective learnings of the seminar series. The UCT cohort of students had the option of being recorded on the UCT campus by fellow seminar participant, Catherine Arendse. The Brazilian cohort of students and those participants who were unable to arrange going to UCT could record themselves independently and submit this video for editing by Catherine Arendse.

• The student and community participants share:
  • Why they applied to the programme; 
  • The important takeaway lessons; and 
  • How the seminar series influenced their activism and academic practice going forward.
